Brett Hornig. Brett, I think we need to just not bury the lead and cold open this thing

with the topic of Courtney DeWalter, who is just on an absolute tear this year, already, in my

opinion, you know, without a doubt, has secured ultra runner of the year. And at this point,

is just patting her stats in maybe achieving a week from today or a week from yesterday,

something historic, which is potentially winning

Western States, Hard Rock, and UTIMB in the same year.

I'll admit it right now because we're going to talk about predictions later.

I have Courtney winning this race.

So I'm asking this question with the knowledge that I am picking

Courtney to win. But I guess my question to you and my question to listeners and viewers of this

episode is, is it crazy to bet against Courtney in her current state with two world beating world-class performances

very recently under her belt at Western States and Hard Rock, lining up for UTMB against a group

of, I would say, world-class women, people like Blandine, people like Ruth Croft, keep going down

the list that are relatively fresh for this race that

have essentially dedicated their summers to this race. Is it crazy to have that debate or should we

just throw everything down and say, look, until she proves otherwise, it's crazy to bet against Courtney

for this race. What are your thoughts there? I mean, I don't think it's, I don otherwise, it's crazy to bet against Courtney for this race.
