on that episode. And there was one player. Time became a factor for us at the end of the episode.

You know, one player with a top 180p who is not part of our last conversation. And by the time

people get to hear this podcast, he may play for a new team.

And that is Brian Reynolds.

And I think the interesting thing about Brian Reynolds is that even if he does not get traded

by the Pittsburgh Pirates, the supporting cast is probably getting better in Pittsburgh.

They got young players emerging to take on larger roles up and down

that lineup. So it's possible that the counting stats will even be a bit better than they've been

in recent years as more and more of those players start to show up on the big league roster.

But Reynolds threw us for a bit of a loop last season because early in the year, it looked like

there was some

legitimate skills loss he recovered put together a pretty nice campaign hit a career high 27 homers

chipped in those seven steals as well didn't do it with the usual great batting average

the projections point to a player with a slash line much like what we just saw in 2022. Is that a fair place to put

expectations or do you see a case for him to maybe split the difference between the 22 slash

line and the 2021 and 2019 slash lines? I suppose you would normally regress that barrel rate back to
