Good morning everybody. Today is Friday, July 7th. Thank you for making me a part of your

morning. Hopefully your weekend is getting off to a fantastic start as we get to weekend

number two in July, Hall of Fame game, just four weeks away from football finally being

back on the TV. But while we're waiting, we will continue on with another episode of

first thoughts today, looking at the Indianapolis Colts, a team that is on a lot of better's

minds in the off season going into 2023 about what could be. And certainly when you look

from the outside in, there's a ton of reasons to be optimistic and there's a ton of reasons

to be excited because as a better or even as someone who is just kind of beyond that level

of a casual fan that does a little reading, understands sort of modern football, everything

that the Colts have done in the last three months, get you, get you moving to put it

lightly. So first and foremost, the hiring of Shane Stuykin at head coach, it was a massive

process to go out and find the head coach they bring in Stuykin. And I mean, everything

that he has done and said in the last three months is everything that you want to hear

as a football fan, as a better as anybody who's interested in the league. He goes out,

he wins house for the offensive staff. There's only two guys on the entire offensive staff

that are older than 38. This is a very young, a very modern focused offense from the top

all the way down. This is one of the youngest coaching staffs in the entire NFL. And so

when you think about that and you think about the scheme that Shane Stuykin runs, you get

again, excitements to word for the Colts because Stuykin comes from the Eagles and his

offensive scheme, obviously got them to the Super Bowl. But the way that it's been

described and the best explanation of what he does that I have seen is that it reflects

a modern NBA scheme where you're going for three pointers or layups. And when you look
