David, to continue a conversation we had at the beginning of our pre-show chat, how often do you think about the Roman Empire since that seems to be an ever-present fixture on the show these days?

So, weirdly not that much for someone who accidentally got a history major by taking all history electives in college.

But the other trend that I've seen is Googling populations of cities five times a day.

Google mapping places or Googling populations of cities, that's like, I mean, 365 times a year

wouldn't even get close.

So if you're doing math like that, it's every day multiple times.

Okay.

So you are familiar with that trend of how often do you think about the Roman Empire then?

And if you were giving a numerical answer, though, is it like once a month? Is it every couple

weeks? Where are we at, Gus? Probably every couple weeks. I'd say there are other empires that I

probably think about more. Interesting. And why are you looking up city populations? We are going to

talk about soccer, but I'm immediately sidetracked by fascinating. You have to know how big a place is and where it is and what it's located near. Do you? Yeah, because I don't like when people are like, oh, well, like, yeah, like everyone lives in Austin. And you're like, no, look up the population. Not everyone lives in Austin. Everyone lives in San Antonio.
