All right, Columbus Dan, doing Columbus Dan things.

It is game week, folks.

We have made it through the long and seemingly endless offseason,

and in a mere three days, Louisville football will be back. The Jeff Brom era will be kicking

off in Atlanta as the cards take on Georgia Tech. It's going to be a football-centric episode,

as you may guess. We're going to talk a little bit about the season. We'll talk a little bit about Georgia Tech.

We'll do a little day in the dumps.

We'll have some fun.

And then we'll call it a day.

Apologies for not being around for the last few weeks.

But summer's over.

It's time to get to work.

The CCP podcast is going to be back on a weekly basis, at least one episode per week.

We're excited about that. And we're definitely excited about football.

Dan, how are you on this Tuesday morning here? We are good. I mean, we are just, we're two feet

in the, in the shallow end right now. I don't even know what that means, but with that being said,

I'm trying to remember the last time I was, like, actually full on excited for a Louisville sporting event.

I want to say it was women's volleyball.
