Hey now, we are getting over, and I am the Silver King, Adam Silverstein, here to lead you through these hard times.

As we welcome you to the 2023 Getting Over Awards, also known as the Meadies.

That's right.

Getting Over is back for the fourth edition of our annual award show as we honor the best and brightest,

as well as the worst and dimmest in professional wrestling over the last calendar year.

We will be handing out 23 awards over the course of this special with nominees spanning

WWE, AEW, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Stardom,

and Beyond.

But as we said, only 23 will be lucky or unlucky enough to come away with METIs.

Those award winners will have earned the majority of votes from myself, the Silver King,

Adam Silverstein, Vintage Chris Vanini, and you are listeners the getting over heads. All of this

as we put a bow on what was yet another wild year in professional wrestling.

Though, through just a couple days in 2024, this year is certainly trying to give 2023 and 2022 a run for their money.

Of course, this is our second of two, 2023 recap episodes.
