Welcome back for another helping of oysters, clams, and cockles presented by Bolin Media.

I am Ross Bolin here with Barrett Dudley, too.

We got two things to talk about. Two main things today, right? Mission Impossible,

dead reckoning. Like who knows there might be other things. We might talk about more than two

specific things. Two main things, you're right. Yeah, yeah. Like we could talk about, I don't know,

like what, you know, what you had for lunch today or something. I mean, I should put the, yeah.

I'm a little more full than I would like to be right now. Yeah. Yeah. You know the feeling.

Are you going burrito bowl or you go full, you just go full on hog these days? No, I'm a child,

so I get a quesadilla. Oh, okay. Yeah. Yeah. And then chips and guac. Just really

went all out today. Nobody orders the Chipotle quesadilla. That's, that's, um, children do. That's

unhinged. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. When you get it to go or delivery, they allow you to pick like three

sides to put in like a, mm-hmm. A little, so I got like beans, like the tomato, heavy sauce,

so whatever that one is called. Yeah. And then sour cream, just a big puddle of sour cream.

Sounds pretty good. It was. All right. So now we've added something to list. We've got,

we're talking three things. Boo yeah. Mission impossible, dead reckoning, part one, part one. But

first, let's start with the 2023 Emmy nominations. Of course, the Emmys are planned for September 18th.

But they may be postponed. It turns out. Because they don't have any writers. Well, now they don't

have any writers and I have any actors. And the actors might not show up. They might boycott, right?

Everybody's part of the strike. Everybody's striking. Everybody's strike. Right. Big problem. In

Hollywood, obviously, we've had our typewriter on the table in support of the writers. Yeah. That's

for over a month now. Definitely. Things do not seem to have progressed very well.
