And I am back in the 2022 rock slide bear camp.

Um, unfortunately, no bears were harmed by yours truly on this trip.

Uh, we did have one bear go down and camp shot by my boy Eric Walsy.

And then of course, Ryan, every got his giant color phase the week prior.

Um, had a great week in camp, you know, minus the less than favorable weather conditions.

We had rain nearly every day that week on top of dealing with a large amount of snow still covering roads and bait sites.

The, um, the snow just made it pretty difficult to get around.

It was, uh, wasn't ideal by any means.

And it's not that they had, you know, more snow than they typically do every year.

It was just that, uh, it was a pretty cold spring and really hadn't warmed up much to melt any of it off.

So, um, it was definitely a struggle getting into camp and getting around on, on some of the roads.

So, um, kind of had that, uh, had to deal with.

So, and of course, you know, in the week after we left, it was supposed to be 70 plus degrees and sunny every day.

So, I mean, just timing was off, but yeah, it is what it is.

So, uh, we had one side by side with tracks on it and, you know, they were able to get pretty much, you know,

anywhere that they wanted to go, um, but the rest of the guys that had, you know,

UTVs with, with just tires or, you know, with a truck, um, you weren't really able to get around to all the different spots

...
