This next group that we're going to talk about.

Another fun group in that you've got some young players. You've got some kind of established accumulators.

So you can choose your own adventure with the types of players you like in this range.

A fun spot to take some chances on younger players, especially if you're into that at all.

So, you know, we begin where we left off with AJ Pollock. And I have a simple

AJ Pollock question. Would they play him more if he were healthier? Like, is he, is he a

platoon plus guy on top of having a lot of injuries? Or is he actually an everyday guy

because of the way they mix and match or close to an everyday guy who just misses out on playing time because of various ailments?

I do think one of the kind of frontiers in baseball research and the frontiers of the best, the way the best teams run their teams,

includes what you might roll your eyes at called load management, but it includes keeping

your players healthy. And I talk to people around the Giants about, for example, when they

decide Brandon Crawford's going to sit, how they make that

decision. And it's made based on how many stops and starts he made in the last five days,

you know, playing his defense. Or maybe even something on a bat speed or something they saw

in the exit velocity. Something very minute can make the decision. Okay, it's time for. And Brandon Crawford himself said,

I don't always feel like I need to take the blow, but like, you know, I'm cool with it. You know,

it does seem like I'm playing better and I'm staying healthier because of it. So I think that

with Pollock, they realized, here's a guy who'm staying healthier because of it. So I think that with Pollock,

they realized here's a guy who's had a lot of injuries in the past. And if we treat him with
