Summary
JP Finlay, Mitch Tischler and Pete Hailey are here to put a bow on the 2022 NFL Draft by running through what the Commanders did on Day 3 of the event and evaluating the club's new rookies as a whole. You'll get the guys' grades, their favorite/least-favorite picks and some of the NFL player comps they have for the new Commanders among other discussion points. There's also reaction to the signing of veteran guard Trai Turner. Once their time on the mics concludes, you'll hear JP's 1-on-1 with Phidarian Mathis, which was recorded right after Mathis was selected on Friday. If you like podcasts where Mitch starts frothing at the mouth over a Turner vs. Wes Schweitzer camp battle and Mathis relays an awesome draft night story involving a hat, then this is the episode for you.

| 0:50.5 | As I believe the Washington commanders think they enjoy themselves during this draft weekend. I think |
| 0:58.0 | listen man, like if you don't look good in your senior prom pictures, you're never going to look |
| 1:03.6 | good. And if you ever find a football coach that tells you they're not happy at the end of their |
| 1:08.3 | draft, then they're never happy. So Ron and Martin said all the right things. We love our draft. |
| 1:13.0 | We got tougher. We got better blah blah blah. I think they actually mean it. I think they're |
| 1:17.2 | pretty high on what they did. I think, you know, if you look the headline of the draft is the |
| 1:23.0 | trade out of 11 to 16. If you look at what they turned 11 into the collection of picks there, |
| 1:30.4 | you get a quarterback, a running bag, a wide receiver, and a tight end on a team where they |
| 1:35.2 | talked repeatedly about, hey, we need to add more skill position players for our starting quarterback |
| 1:39.4 | and Carson Wentz. I think they accomplished that objective. |
| 1:42.8 | All in all, I think it was a B minus draft problem. I wrote a story for the website. Basically, |
| 1:56.4 | I think Ron played the draft pretty safe. It's a lot of high floor guys, but not necessarily a lot |
| 2:03.4 | of high ceiling guys. I think you're hoping Dotson becomes James and Crowder with more explosiveness. |
