The draft is over and it's time to wrap it all up. We also got a little

commander's news. Shocker. It signs up somebody who used to play in Carolina. Let's dive in.

We rabbit those guys want you to do the same thing. I spoke with those boys over the weekend.

They were all up on the Jersey Shore and had quite a time. Quite a time. I will leave

the rest of that for a off the record pod, but they seem like they enjoy themselves.

As I believe the Washington commanders think they enjoy themselves during this draft weekend. I think

listen man, like if you don't look good in your senior prom pictures, you're never going to look

good. And if you ever find a football coach that tells you they're not happy at the end of their

draft, then they're never happy. So Ron and Martin said all the right things. We love our draft.

We got tougher. We got better blah blah blah. I think they actually mean it. I think they're

pretty high on what they did. I think, you know, if you look the headline of the draft is the

trade out of 11 to 16. If you look at what they turned 11 into the collection of picks there,

you get a quarterback, a running bag, a wide receiver, and a tight end on a team where they

talked repeatedly about, hey, we need to add more skill position players for our starting quarterback

and Carson Wentz. I think they accomplished that objective.

All in all, I think it was a B minus draft problem. I wrote a story for the website. Basically,

I think Ron played the draft pretty safe. It's a lot of high floor guys, but not necessarily a lot

of high ceiling guys. I think you're hoping Dotson becomes James and Crowder with more explosiveness.
