Hello, welcome to the Who Collective podcast. We talk about the NBA, which we're doing on Saturday

0:10.0

afternoon, especially me here in San Francisco, where the final is taking place. Joining me from

0:15.0

down the street around the corner is Tim Bontebs. Hello guys. And joining us from Dallas, Texas,

0:24.0

where he's sipping my ties and enjoying the games at his leisure and thinking about his summer

0:30.9

plans, his band McMahon. Howdy, partners. He was so upset when the Maverick's got a little

0:38.1

dominated. Bontebsy didn't have to keep working. Hey, we saw upset because it went five games instead of

0:44.5

four. Stop. There's pros and cons to anything. There you go. So we got our, we got to see a first

0:53.2

game, an unusual, you know, fourth quarter to say the least, probably one of the one and more

1:01.1

remarkable fourth quarters in recent finalist history. Incredible turn around for the Celtics to

1:05.9

take a one o'lead. I did not think the Celts were winning that game. I felt the Celts were,

1:10.0

the Celtics were coming back to Boston one one. I thought they would lose game one and win

1:14.4

game two because they've come back off of losses throughout the entire postseason. That was,

1:20.3

you know, my projection and why it's really hard to know what's going to happen in these series.

1:25.8

You know, an incredible series of shot making done by the Celtics. And, you know, being at

1:32.5

practice today, you could hear that the the warriors were sort of in a mix of anger at themselves

1:43.6

and also a belief that the Celtics will not shoot that well again. There was sort of this undertone

1:50.7

of, hey, congrats to those guys. They made great shots. They don't normally make them like that.

1:56.2

And, you know, that's true. You don't normally see a team go nine of 11 on threes in the fourth

2:02.3

quarter of a finals game on the road. That is outlandish. But by intents, I'm not sure that the

2:08.8

warriors entered that game to use a spurs phrase with appropriate fear. And I don't think that they

2:17.4

took the Celtics and their ability to make comebacks with appropriate fear. And that cost them again.

2:26.4

Yeah, I thought that the warriors sort of did a lot of the things they've done through the playoffs.
