any year was it? Gosh, you know, it seems like for the last few years, everyone's saying

I can't wait for this year to end of the new one to come in. Started what about 2020? Didn't

we start saying that can't wait for 2021? Can't wait for 2022? A lot of people are saying

can't wait for 2023. But it doesn't seem to be getting better, does it?

First of great observations by Seth Liebson. Now you're right. People have been saying

that for 20, 21, 22, 23. Yeah, no, it isn't getting better. Let's, let's go through it.

I mean, we'll, we'll find some bright spots. But let's go through. What was the worst

of the year? Let's, let's do the deal with the worst and we get happier as we go along.

We're relatively happier. Great question. The worst of the year probably would have been

the disappointment from the elections in November, because I think a lot of people

would argue, I certainly would, that if we are going to start turning around and being

more optimistic about things to come, fixing the country, maybe even fixing the world,

and its problems, it would have been, it would have been with Republican political leadership

will have some, but it's going to be a lot more anemic than a lot of us expected. I think

a lot of our optimism was tied to a, to a resurgent Republican leadership politically.

Look, I think if this country is, if the West is going to be saved, my old friend, Harry

Jeff, and my old teacher, your old friend, Harry Jeff, I used to say, if the West is going

to be saved, the salvation of the West is to come, it will come from the United States.
