Who's ready for some football?

Well, we are at Kevin Keatsman has issues, and in just a few minutes, Lee Sterling will join us with your season preview.

We'll go over all three of our area college teams, KUK State, Missouri, and of course the Chiefs and the AFC West. He'll give you his

best bets on season totals with many of these teams, and he's got some first week lines as Saturday.

They call it week zero. We've got a couple of games in the Big Ten of note, Nebraska and Northwestern,

and Wyoming travels to Illinois. He'll give you free selections on those games coming up on

according to Vegas, the over under is two and a half wins. I like the over there. Kansas State

is six and a half. I like the over there. And Missouri is five and a half. And I'm going to

take the under there only because I think K State's going to beat Missouri in the second week, and I think that will decide. I think they'll both real close to those season totals, and that'll probably be a deciding factor there. There's been a lot of talk about the quarterbacks, Julian Daniels at K-U, Adrian Martinez in at K-State, Brady Cook in at Missou, and we're very much looking forward

to the start of this season. It's going to be a blast. And it's coming, and it's coming fast with a whole bunch of great games. In week one, the Chiefs open at Arizona, September 11th. That is about a 315, 320 kickoff on Sunday afternoon, September 11th. Also in week one, the Raiders and the Chargers

and the Broncos with Russell Wilson play at the Seahawks. Another marquee game that week,

and in addition to the Bills and Rams, is Tampa at Dallas on Sunday night football. So a huge

opening weekend in the National Football League. But up first, up first, it's going to be college

football. And that starts this weekend in week zero with about a dozen games. We'll talk to League Sterling about that. We are also one week away from live legal sports wagering in the state of Kansas. Many people that live in the Kansas City area can download the apps, the app of your choosing. And as long as you are across the state line and in Kansas, you can place a bet right from your phone. So I'm going to guess that a lot of people are going to be doing that this year, maybe for the first time ever.
