Feels like we are this close to another global shutdown. I get very nervous about that on a number of levels.

This whole place, this building feels like a ghost town.

And the NFL is not alone.

It's happening everywhere as people are kind of going underground as this virus is mutated into something very dangerous.

But the big story right now, I think, is the long-simmering analytics culture war that is really now coming to a boil within the football cognizanti.

And this week has been a big one because it started with Thursday and Brandon Staley saying, I hate field goals. I only want to

score touchdowns and all the drama around that on Thursday. Then it comes around to Sunday, the

late game with John Harbaugh for the second time in three weeks going for two down one. And once

again, failing. We're going to get to that game. But it feels like you're either on this side or the other side.

I even could draw some parallels mark to the political climate of this country a few years back,

where it's getting more and more angry.

A few years.

And I think what makes us even more fun that we have Greg on one side of this battle, me and you

maybe on the other, maybe you on the fence a little bit more, Mark, and that's going to cause

some spicy tension in the studio all throughout the episode. I agree with you 100%. I think it's like,

I look at all the stuff that creates the decisions that are being made.

And like it's the way that we played like Madden and Tecmo Bowl growing up where you just never punted.
