0:21.0	But here's a little Sunday appetizer for you just to get your wheels turning towards
0:27.1	the PGA championship, some storyline, some records, maybe some things to remember or
0:33.6	to look forward to at Kiowa.
0:35.8	So without further ado, let's jump into the preview and first look for this week's
0:40.7	PGA championship.
0:42.1	As you can imagine with a major championship, there is plenty of history.
0:46.2	This event dates back 105 years to 1916.
0:51.4	And I think what is one of the most interesting things about the history of the PGA
0:54.9	championship is that this used to be a match play event.
0:58.9	Wouldn't it be cool to have another match play major on the schedule?
1:02.7	That's right.
1:03.8	Jim Barnes not only won the 1916 version edition of this event, but he also won in 1919.
1:11.0	Those were the first two times the PGA championship was played, and it was match play.
1:16.2	Was not switched to stroke play until 1958.
1:20.7	What's that?
1:21.0	40 years later.
1:23.1	So interesting little tidbit about the PGA championship there, and of course, our
1:27.3	past champions are honored over and over again.
1:30.8	Colin Moracawa, victorious in 2020, 2019 and 18, both went to Brooks Kepka.
