Rube, the Eagles did it. They made Philadelphia pretty happy.

Everyone's not happy, of course, but I think they drafted the guy most fans wanted them to take.

Yeah I would agree with that I think it's really weird to have people like be happy

on a draft like it's been a while it's been a draft night. It's been a while. It's been a long time and for good reason. And I think everybody was kind of, everyone was terrified. You know, everyone was like a lot of sleepless nights, how he's going to do it again.

They're going to screw this up and I understand that.

But everyone's holding their breath. It actually went the eagle's way, went the fan's way for once.

But we're going to go through our initial reaction. Or you can listen to it both, because I think, you know, it's kind of like, like a great symphony or, you know, an incredible novel or, you know, like an album like the white album like you don't you listen to it once you're not really getting the full depth of the genius involved here so I think on repeated lessons I think this podcast will really offer more and more to our

listeners. I'm skeptical of that assessment. We're going to go through our reaction to the pick itself, to the

process the Eagles went through to get there, a little trade-up involved on Thursday

night. We had a chance to speak with Howie Roseman, Andy,

Wightel, Nick Seriani, and Devante Smith virtually after the pick was made.

And then we'll kind of give our reactions to the way the rest of the first round went and we'll look ahead to round two because there are still some really good players on the board for the Eagles and there's going to be a good player at 37 when they pick again and we'll see if how he can keep it going or not and make the people happy.
