my life. No, sometimes the dream's over. You got to let it go. It took longer than we thought,

but they've let go. It sounds like if you're breaking the news here. Well, Anthony Slater, over at our site, broke the news for sure. So let's give Slater the credit,

because Slater's the best, first and foremost. But just do you remember the Smiley Geach

like enthusiasm only from the Warriors back in 2019? Like nobody else around the league thought he was good.

Right, not specifically.

Maybe just directly appointed from them,

but I don't remember the buzz outside of that organization, really.

Yeah, I thought another good friend of the program, Dieter Kurt and Bach, put it best on Twitter.

Smiley was a totem of the Warriors' ownership's belief in itself.

They were the last to admit the mistake.

I think that's kind of right, weirdly.

You can take those chances with a couple championships, though.

You can better yourself a little bit more that something else is going to pan out.
