Welcome everyone, Kentucky Sports Radio Thursday April 1st. I'm Matt Jones. April Fools Day. We're not going to pull any jokes on you, because I hate April Fools jokes.

I don't like him. I feel like I always fall for one in an eight years.

Drew is in Lexington. Shannon is at the studio in Louisville. Drew, how are you? I'm wonderful doing the show from my house, which is rare. I enjoy making breakfast and then peeing up the headset and starting the show. So this is going to be a fun day.

It is. This is the second day of the sweet 16. We will talk a little bit more about it in a little bit. Normally, tomorrow, Drew and I will be at KS Bar. We were supposed to be this morning, but be quite frank with you, Shannon. I got a late start.

I rolled over to wake up, to drive to Lexington. I said, you know what? I want to sleep one more hour.

Not the wrong with that? There's nothing wrong with that. So that allowed Drew to stay home. And now here we are. It is April Fool's Day, but there's a couple of things here. I was going to start the show out with a disclaimer.

And then I found out something that makes it a little less of a disclaimer. So allow me to explain. First of all, today is going to be a pretty heavy, non-sport show. I'm just warning you on that. Not because I think for most of you, that makes you happy.

But I do want to warn the people that get angry today, maybe one of those days. I thought it might just be me and Shannon. Drew's here, rhymes out. We're going to have fun. Yeah, I'm so fun.

So if you're one of these people who's like, yeah, I want to hear more about the football, weights and measurements. And this may not be your day, although we do have some of that.

So this is not quite a stick to sports day. We're going to do the first region of the 90s country music bracket. I set the playlist last night on Spotify. So if you download my playlist or whatever you do, like it, whatever the kids do, you'll be able to listen to all of these songs except Garth Brooks. And we'll talk about that in a minute.

But there is going to be a big sports moment, Drew, because we are going to have a football commitment again today on this show.

But this is breaking news to me. It was breaking news to me. I just found out a half an hour ago. So we're going to have a football. That's exactly right.

So the thing is, I'm not exactly sure what time, which means the people who want to hear that drew, may just have to listen to our nonsense to until it comes. Buckle up. You're along for the ride. It could be right in the middle of an intense country music battle that we're debating, but we'll be ready for it.
