You guys are probably sick of me by now.

We get an national sign day to talk about how long we'll go today.

Kind of tired of talking. But a lot going on. A lot going on. So let's go ahead and jump right

into it here, National Signing Day. Mississippi State went into the day with four possibilities for

new signees. They get three of those four. The one exception, Khalil Benson of South Haven High School, has

signed on with Indiana. We were told late yesterday that Indiana had made a late push, and

Colo Benson told me on Monday that he was going to notify both coaching staffs on Tuesday of

his decision and then make an announcement on Wednesday. Well, he has signed on with Indiana.

I'm not a huge Kalil-Binson fan, but I felt like because he is an in-state lineman and the

fact that he gives you kind of some lead-in to Isaiah Brevard of 2021, who I think is the top

prospect in the class for next year, as of now, it makes

sense.

Plus, you know, Mike Leach wants to really expand that offensive line room.

Meostate traditionally has kept about 13 offensive linemen on scholarship.

Leach wants that number to be closer to 20.

And so in order to get there, you've got to take some

guys that are a bit developmental. And so Benson makes sense, you know, to me. So he's not going to be part of our class. And that's okay. And I hate to begin on a negative, but I wanted to go ahead and kind of get that out there because that's the one thing that went wrong today with National signingigning Day, and that was the thing about the
