But the real key to all of this is that football is coming and it's actually here and I'm excited for it and

Thursday night there's actually NFL football happening and I'm pretty stoked for it so we made it

the sky is red in California. It's an odd time to be alive, but the NFL season is happening and that's where we are and let's bring on today's guest

Nick, are you excited for real actual football?

Nah. We didn't even get pre-season games.

It's, it's, it's, we were talking a little bit about it off the air and it was like this is the shortest longest year of our lives because it's almost like oh my god the season's actually here because none of the actual cues of off season stuff and O TAs and training camp was odd and no preseason game so it's almost it's like oh no

this is weird there's a game happening it was an eternity and it happened so quickly at the same

time. Yeah yeah you look back and you're like, oh man, I can't believe football is here.

It feels like, you know, the tragedy back in February just happened at the Super Bowl.

It's like, wait, no, a lot of stuff's happened.

A whole lot of stuff.

Many tragedies, different levels of tragedy there,

depending on your point of view.

Right, right.
