I'm your host Ian Harditz and today we will continue our team preview series with a

look at the Philadelphia Eagles.

So what we will do is we will start with Carson once.

Can he regain that MVP form we saw in 2017?

I think so.

I think we have put too much stock in the DAC verse once and it's clouded our judgement

and they are both top 8 quarterbacks in the league.

I think this is in a situation where it needs to be one or the other.

Both guys have proven to be able to function at an incredibly high level, particularly

once in that 2017 season.

I think if you look at what exactly went right for the Eagles offense in that year, I think

it was a presence of field stretchers and it wasn't amazing by any stretch and they

had Tori Smith and a rookie year Mac Hollings that was making plays but you go to 2018 and

they tried to add Mike Wallister to play Tori Smith.

He gets hurt immediately.

Mac Hollings doesn't play 2019.

They have the Sean Jackson one week and blows up and then he's hurt.

Hollings is off the team four weeks and they have not had those lid lifters to help clear

up the intermediate areas of the field because we have our zackers, our Dallas goaters,

my standards of the world now who can do all sorts of things with the ball in their

hand but having that guy to force the safety to get off the line of scrimmage or not
