Hello there. This is just a brief chat I had recently with Alex Guddstein from the Human Rights

Foundation and it is to help raise awareness of their upcoming event the Oslo Freedom Forum.

They have not paid for me to promote this on my channel.

I just wanted to help them raise awareness of the event and encourage people to register for

it.

I attended the event last year in Oslo and it was a real opener for me and

led me to start in my second podcast defiance. Also Alex Glaston has been just

such a huge help to me as a border of my work that I'm always willing to help lend support back to the great work he and the Human Rights Foundation does.

This year it is a virtual event and it will be held on the 24th and 25th of September and you can register at Oslo freedom forum.

I will also be attending and I hope I'll see many of you there.

Thank you for your time bringing me on to talk about what I think is the coolest conference in the world.

Well I went last year. I went to the one in Oslo. I was looking forward to going again this year.

Obviously, it's going to be slightly different this year.

Tell me, first you, tell everyone about the Oslo Freedom Forum

and then tell me how it's going to be changing this year

for an online format in this COVID world.

Yeah, obviously I'm tremendously biased, but something that should resonate with your audience is that the Oslo Freedom Forum is the same age as Bitcoin.

In fact, as Satoshi Nakamoto was plotting what would later become the Bitcoin White Paper and the client itself.

My colleagues and I at the Human Rights Foundation, we were plotting the Oslo Freedom Forum.
