All right and happy to be joined by multiple guests today.

We got Jacob Hester, Emily Dixon on to talk about the first round of the NFL draft. It was an eventful night for LSU. It was a busy night for LSU.

Five Tigers selected in the first round. Some surprises in terms of maybe where some guys went.

No surprise, though, at number one. Joe Burrow, number one overall draft pick. I said this before, and Emily,

you can kind of pick up from here. I said this right before the draft. I was kind of sitting

there thinking about it. Joe, maybe his best quality is he takes these really tense moments

and just sucks all the drama out of them because he's so good and so dominant and so prepared.

I think preparation is the thing, and we'll talk about that in a little bit because he talked about that in his press conference with the media after. But there was no drama. I mean, we knew he was going number one. He was taken number one. I don't know. Do you have any reaction to it other than it was really obvious that he was going to be the number one guy? I mean, it was kind of like when we were up in New York for the Heisman, Cody,

and we knew that Joe was going to win the Heisman, and Jacob, you were there too.

But it was still an exciting moment to see it happen and to be like, okay, now it is done.

We do have the number one overall pick.

But it was almost funny that this was the year that it's a virtual and Joe's at home

because he seemed very at home with having to be at home for the virtual draft because he,

you know, is not very glitz and glamour.

He's just for lack of a better term and he's just Joe.

And he looked like, okay, got the pick. Now it's time to go to work. That, it was, it was perfect for Joe. Like, there were so many, I think that's the thing that I picked up when. There's two things that I'm thinking of. One is that because Joe makes things so mundane, I guess, and so obvious, and you can see them coming from a mile away. You almost have to step back and appreciate it, like, because the drama's not there and you don't get that thrill necessarily. You still have to kind of stop and be like, look, this guy went number one overall, LSU got that guy. The other thing is, is like you said, Emily, that it's like a perfect fit for Joe, the way that everything unfolded. And I keep seeing like these little things that I'm like, is, like you said, Emily, it's like a perfect fit for Joe, the way that everything

unfolded. And I keep seeing, like, these little things that I'm like, oh, the bingles are

going to have fun with this. Like, he had a, he had a quote on his press conference. Like, I think someone asked him, what's your plans for tomorrow? He's like, I don't know, I'll get with the media relations people and see how many interviews I have to do tomorrow.

And it's just like, oh, yeah, that's Joe.

So get ready, get ready for that Cincinnati.
