looking at the five picks Ryan Pace made on day three of the draft. We also get

into why the bears didn't draft a quarterback this year for the fifth time in Ryan Pace's

six drafts and look around the rest of the division and wonder if the Green Bay Packers really

had the worst draft of anyone this week. All that and more on the under center podcast starting

right now. What it means to me to be a Chicago bear, it's an easy question.

It means everything to me.

That means rich tradition, black and blue division, defense, legends, linebackers.

The history of it.

I mean, I'm a big history guy, so understanding this was one of the first franchises just kind of blows my mind, honestly, that was able to be a part of that.

The city, just the nostalgia of playing for a story franchise, the story franchise of the running back position, with guys like Gail Sayers and Walter Payton and being able to follow in those footsteps.

So being a bear means everything.

What more can you say?

All right guys, first of all, let's just talk about how great it was that there was even a draft this weekend.

I mean, the fact that the NFL pulled this off,

and I actually think the product was better than in years where the draft has been held at a site

and you've got, you know, fans cheering in Nashville or Chicago or whatever it was, I really liked

the way this draft was presented from going into all these different players' homes

to kind of forcing the analysis to kind of rise to the top because you didn't have these

crowd shots of fans screaming and anything.
