Summary

Brad and Graham are back and joined by living legend Sean Kelly for the last episode of the Bradley Wiggins Show this year to dissect a season like no other.

The trio deliberate on the truncated racing calendar with Sam Bennett and Tao Geoghegan Hart’s exploits at the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia lauded. King Kelly breaks down his nerves as protégé Bennett sealed Champs-Élysées glory.

Primoz Roglic, who saw a maiden Tour de France win agonisingly taken from his grasp by Tadej Pogačar, bounced back to claim a consecutive Vuelta a España to continue an astounding few years.

Elsewhere, Hugh Carthy was the latest breakthrough act in a season of breakthroughs, and Brad calls the Lancashire rider the finished package, who has a genuine chance of winning a Grand Tour. However, will EF Pro Cycling back him?

2012 Tour de France winner Brad expects Team Ineos to bounce back after – despite Giro success – a disappointing season but raises questions over some of the signings the British-based team have made.

Chris Froome, who is set to sign with Israel Start-Up Nation for the 2021 season, expects excellence, adds Brad, and his team have made some astute signings to support the seven-times Grand Tour winner as he goes in search of a fifth Tour.

The trio wrap up with their moments of the season and expectations for next year.

The Bradley Wiggins Show is produced by Pete Burton.
