I'm John Taffer.

Thank you for listening to the John Taffer podcast. Happy Hanukkah, which ended a couple days ago. Merry Christmas, which is only a few days away. And of course, happy New Year. And boy, are we welcoming 2021. Man, this was the worst year, I think, of all of our lives, Corian.ans you know of all the things that I've lived

through and businesses that have succeeded and are failed and family problems and health

crises and family and such over the year losing loved ones and all of I can't imagine a

worse year in my life than this year but you know it's incredible we talked this last week. There's still a lot that we can be thankful for. Certainly the fact that the vaccine is coming. There's a third one going to be approved in a couple weeks. It's pretty darn exciting. But I wanted to look back at this year because last year, one of the most popular podcast we had, Corey, was the end of the year podcast when we did some lookbacks. Yeah, it was. You know, and used some great clips and stuff. So we thought we do it again for you this year. And we really pulled some great stuff together. But, you know, I think about the highs and lows for me this year. You know, we opened Taffer's Tavern in the middle of a pandemic. It's a franchise.

Our franchisee is a great guy, Hammondton,

and we couldn't take his franchise money and then not have him open.

Yeah, that would so.

So, you know, our job was to help him get this unit opened and make it successful.

And our corporate team has been there for over three months,

dealing with COVID to make sure everything is safe and opening it.

But son of a gun, we got it open.

And, Corey, I don't know if you knew this.

Last night, it was a record night again, record sales.

Wow.
