0:40.7	through Corporate America and made it to the C-suite. I was killing it in the media business for over 25 years and after 14 years at one company and being promoted three times and being named one of the most
0:55.0	influential women in radio, I was suddenly fired.
0:59.6	And it was a crazy unexpected turn of events, which in the moment sucks. It was awful.
1:02.8	off events, which in the moment sucked.
1:05.0	It was awful.
1:06.1	I don't know if you've ever been fired,
1:07.6	but it is a major punch in the gut in the moment.
1:11.2	But like anything, you know, in time, you know, I have this perspective now that I can look back and say,
1:16.7	greatest gift I was ever given, however, it was not a painless road, right get here but growth is not always easy.
1:25.9	We have to step into the uncomfortable and in fact maybe that's where the actual magic happens.

1:32.3	So that's what I've learned is, you know, stepping out, I had an 18-month
1:36.6	non-compete, non-solicit, which meant I could not go to a competitor, I couldn't work in the media
