weep college basketball podcast.

Matthew Cox, the voice coming through your ears right now, is your host for the

evening. Join by the usual cast of characters. We have Jim Root based in Las Vegas, Nevada,

Kimekean based just a stones throwaway. I guess if you have a good arm of stones throw right here

in Chicago, Illinois. Getting off to a late start tonight, 20 minutes tardy out of the tip here,

Jim. We usually kick off at 5 sharp, but a little delay here. So we're just kind of, we're antsy to get going, I think, out of the shoot. Yeah, we're ready. We're not pointing any fingers here. We're not pointing any fingers, but we are a little bit behind. It's okay. We're ready to rock. It's going to be a good pod. Before Kai throws his wife on the bus, we were awaiting a positive COVID, or sorry, a negative COVID test. We had a little scare, so we had to get a rapid clear. The officials, the officials on this podcast had some shaky tests. And CDC has not given official guidelines on podcast safety with COVID. So we're just trying to err on the side of caution. Kai, that's all we're doing. This is a strange analogy. I don't like this analogy one bit. No, we're fine, guys. In fact, it's not a live show. It doesn't really matter when we record. Exactly. Nobody has any idea when we actually do. Yeah, I don't care at all about this conversation we just had. Hi, guys.

Matthew, go ahead. Yeah, it's an outline that sounds awfully familiar. We're going to lead it off at the Roots Roundup, then do some thoughts from the three men, three men thoughts. And then we'll talk about some previews. We got games Thursday, Friday, Saturday. the schedule's shaping up to be pretty standard.

So, I mean, yeah, you guys will just settle right in and join us for a pretty... We'll be talking to Missouri Valley Showdown in that... Yeah, we will. We actually have some really good major games on the docs this week. We're kind of at that point where the favorites are starting to emerge and we're getting those matchups that will determine who could be the winner of some of these leagues. And because we are the most democratic podcast in the college basketball

domain, we will talk about those instead of the cliche power six big boys. So you're a
