Today we are talking about the 2019 Tesla Shareholder

Meeting, as well as updated short interest,

which came out yesterday after market close.

Tesla stock on the day to day, pretty surprisingly,

finished down 3.61% $209.26.

As compared to the Nasdac down 0.38%. I say a bit surprising because from the high of the day, which happened

during morning trading with Tesla above $223 per share, Tesla actually finished

down 6.3% from that level.

It's not uncommon for us to see the stock price fall in the day following a major event

from Tesla.

We've talked about that phenomenon quite often, which can be simply stated as by the rumor, sell the news.

But in this case, I don't think the rumor is really a rumor.

It's more of, hey, maybe the 50% drop that we've seen in Tesla over the last few months

is a bit overdone at this point, and maybe they'll say something at the shareholder meeting that reinforces that idea.

If that is the quote unquote rumor in this case, I don't see much reason to sell the news because overall I thought the shareholder

meeting was solid throughout as I've been saying I think the biggest question

for investors has been demand and profitability Tesla and Elon seemed to realize that addressing that kind of right off the

bat in the initial presentation that Elon gave saying that there is quote not a

demand problem absolutely not sales have far exceeded production,
