Danny and AI are going to gaze into the crystal ball and predict infallibly what the landscape of the league will look like in the year 2019.

0:13.7

So those are Conan reference there, but that's going to be a lot of fun to do. We're going to look at who we think will be the final four teams, the NBA champion, who will make the all NBA teams.

0:23.4

All that stuff is going to be a lot of fun. Also got some news to get to which we will start off with.

0:28.6

0:55.8

There are a lot of a lot of different ways to go with this. I think in terms of talking about the theoretical NBA championship, we can start with the report Mark Stein and Chris Haynes had that Kevin Durant is kind of he's on schedule and it looks like he could return

1:09.8

before the end of the regular season, which is something the Warriors wanted if his progress permitted it because in that case, they can kind of work him in during the regular season as opposed to having to do that during the playoffs.

1:20.6

Yeah, he was filmed doing a little bit of movement, taking a step into jumpers, nothing lateral yet had a brace on remains to be seen how effective he can be coming back.

1:29.6

He probably will have to wear a brace if other players who suffered a grade to MCL injury or any indication how he'll adjust to that work back into a Warriors team now that suddenly is playing very well again in his absence.

1:40.8

All of that will be very interesting to see here on other injury news, Chandler Parsons will have knee surgery, a menacectomy, which is the meniscus removal rather than repair this being on the opposite knee, the left knee from the one that he had the meniscus repair on.

1:58.4

And also had the micro fracture like surgery on the last two years, but he of course, as we mentioned, is out for the year.

2:06.4

Joel and Bied also likely to have surgery now, which we figured would probably be the case when he was shut down for the year with that meniscus tear.

2:13.8

We don't know yet whether it'll be a trim, you know, the menacectomy where they remove a little bit of it or repair for younger players if they can, they usually like to repair it.

2:23.2

Russell Westbrook, Derek Rose, Eric Bledzo, all had that rose and Westbrook had it later fail. It seems to have held so far for blood so, but the repair is basically a six month recovery time.

2:34.4

It's more like eight weeks or so for the typical meniscus trim so that that'll have some implications for his offseason training certainly.

2:43.2

Yeah, it absolutely will. And you know, we kind of always knew that something like this was coming and there'll be a lot more significant when we know exactly what it is, but still significant.

2:52.0

Also, in terms of NBA news, especially considering we're recording this on Wednesday, Robin Lopez and Sir Jabaca were each suspended one game for their missed punch scuffle last night.

3:01.6

And you know, that could be significant considering a box is going to be out for their game in Miami and Miami's another team that's competing for a playoff birth with Chicago.

3:10.7

Yeah, Toronto right now projected in a 49 and 33 tie with the Wizards.

3:16.2

We know that they certainly would like to avoid the fourth seed.

3:19.9

Those projections don't know that Cal Laury is out, but the Wizards actually have really fallen back to Earth as their schedule has gotten more difficult and they just haven't been playing as well.
