And today's story. A long time Adobe employee creates the picture perfect business by helping

0:13.5

families store and digitize memories across generations. Among other things, he chooses

0:18.4

a really smart name for his business that offers a lesson all of its own. It is a smart

0:23.2

name, also an intriguing name. I'm going to go ahead and tell you what it is now because

0:27.1

we'll tell you the story and then talk a bit more about this lesson. But the business

0:30.3

name is chaos to memories. Chaos to memories. Imagine going from one place to another.

0:37.3

Why is that so significant? Well, listen to the story and then we will analyze a bit

0:40.9

1:23.6

First, the photos he got back didn't have the greatest quality. But second, he had a

1:28.6

difficult time finding specific photos. Finding one image from among 15,000 is a nearly

1:34.4

impossible task. And he figured he wasn't the only one who had this challenge. After

1:39.3

all, lots of people scanned old family photos and then feel overwhelmed. So, Adam decided

1:45.3

to do something about it. In 2018, he started dabbling with this photo-genic business idea.

1:51.5

He rescaned some of his photos and created a way to make them searchable. With a background

1:56.7

and graphic design and photography, Adam had been worked for more than 20 years in sales,

2:00.8

training, and marketing roles, much of that time at Adobe. The combo of technology,
