Hi, all. Christian here. For those of you who aren't on social media and haven't heard yet,

we are so happy to announce that Book 2 Chapter 4 will be premiering on May 6th. It'll be four episodes

released every other week, as usual, and we also want to take this chance to welcome all the new

followers and subscribers who've found us since our last episode.

For those of you who've been following the show a while, we know you've all been waiting very patiently.

Some of you wrote in expressing concern for us and for the show.

We really appreciate that, and we are sorry it took so long, but we're so excited to be back, and for you to hear this really ambitious new chapter that we've been cooking up.

We do want to let you know that for at least the immediate future, the breaks between our chapters, not between the episodes, but between the chapters, are probably going to be on the longer side, unfortunately.

Over the last four, holy shit, four years, the Once in Future nerd has ballooned into something

huge and ambitious, and that is thanks in such large part to your support, and we're so

grateful for it.

But it's also not yet something that the team and I can make a

living off of yet as much as that is the dream, which means that paying jobs and grad school

and all sorts of life events have to come first sometimes. This show means so much to us and your

support means so much to us and we always want you to feel respected

and like we are earning your listenership, we just need to figure out exactly how to do that

in a way that's going to be sustainable for the duration of this epic story that we want to tell.

If you have any thoughts or preferences about this, like for instance, would you rather wait longer for new episodes and have shorter breaks in between chapters or vice versa?

We're very happy to listen, but the thing for you to take away is we're not abandoning you.

We're not abandoning the show.

And we really think that chapter four is going to prove worth the wait.
