The year of our Lord, and by our Lord, of course, I mean Vince McMahon. Welcome.

Welcome to Not Sam Wrestling. I'm very excited. It's a very special show. You know, it's the holidays, of course.

Hope everybody had a fabulous Christmas or Hanukkah or Kwanzaa. Whatever you celebrate, maybe you don't celebrate at all.

Some people don't celebrate anything. Some people celebrate festivists. Whatever it is. I just hope it's been an amazing week.

I hope it's been a great season. I feel like the joy is contagious in the sense that even if you don't celebrate all these holidays, you get a feel for it.

You know, I got under my Christmas tree. So three years ago, I'm out in Los Angeles, California as the great stone-called Steve Austin refers to it as.

And I was there and I was doing a bunch of things, but one of the things that I did while I was there is I made the pilgrimage to recita so I could see my first PWG show.

And because PWG was there that weekend, a bunch of wrestlers were there that weekend. So what I did was, I think the PWG show was maybe on a Saturday night, let's say, maybe a Friday night, whatever it was.

Let's call it Friday. PWG was on the Friday night. What I did that Friday afternoon was I went to a hotel and out and you can find these interviews on YouTube out on the balcony of a hotel.

I interviewed Adam Cole before a big match, a big PWG match that he had that night.

I went to PWG that night. The next day, I met up with a superstar named Drew Goulaq who actually had just met at PWG the night before and we drove around in an automobile that was driven by somebody that was helping me out that weekend and went to the PWG show with me.

And that's one Kathy Kelly. So Kathy Kelly is driving around in a car with me and Drew Goulaq and we're going around trying to find a spot to do an interview and we find a house that's under construction. So we know that nobody lives there and we sit on the stoop Drew Goulaq and I and we do this interview under my Christmas tree this year.

Santa Claus had left Mattel figures of Adam Cole and Drew Goulaq and I have to text Kathy Kelly when I see this and I go, what happened in the last three years, it was January of 2016 that all this went down. So, you know, three years almost to the day.

The lives of everybody involved in that whole weekend, it's just been amazing. It's amazing to see and it puts everything into perspective. Right. Just looking at the fact that who would have ever thought that we'd be here where not only Drew Goulaq and Adam Cole have moved so far beyond doing interviews on hotel balconies and stoops of houses under construction that they have PR people booking their stuff and action.

So, I think it's been made fun of on some podcast but it's the WrestleMania John Cena in T-shirt and jeans and this also has such significance to me because this is the outfit that John Cena was wearing when he was two yards away from me as I was in the audience screwing up in front of the biggest audience that's ever seen me on a WWE show.

During the WrestleMania kickoff show this year. So, Santa thought I had to have that and now I have it. It's just, it's an amazing time. It's an amazing time for WWE. It's an amazing time for pro wrestling in general. I mean, that's the, when you really break it down as much as 2018 has been a crazy year in the world of WWE.

It's been a crazy year in the world of NXT and it's been a crazy world in the world of pro wrestling in general. And so I thought that this week since it is the holidays, since it is approaching New Year's, you know, it's the last show of 2018.

Instead of doing an interview and then a state of wrestling where we go through the top five stories, bubble-bought, this would be the day. Today is the day that we go through. What I believe are the top 10 stories in the world of pro wrestling for 2018.
