Welcome, everyone to the score fantasy football podcast presented by Subway.

I'm your host, Justin Boone, the lead fantasy analyst at

the score, and I can officially update my bio to say that I've finished in the top 10 of

Fantasy Pro's most accurate expert competition, six of the last seven years now. That's because

they announced the results of this year's competition. I came in fourth out of around 130 experts. It's the same

spot I finished in last year. Still chasing that number one finish, but I've never come in

lower than 11th, so I guess there's something to be said for consistency there. This isn't a normal

episode of the podcast. I'll say that right off the top. Normally at this part, I would introduce my co-host

David P. Woods. I give him a little jab on the intro, but since it's the holidays, I've given Woods the

episode off. And I will say that he reluctantly accepted. He's spending the day with his son, Simon.

And I mean, we spend so much time dedicated to fantasy in the fall.

It's nice to see the fantasy season kind of wrap up at week 16, right before the holidays.

You can spend time with family.

You don't have to worry about all the crazy lineup decisions going into week 17, players sitting out for a variety of reasons.

Some teams are sitting players out because they've clinched playoff

spots. Some teams are out of it and deciding, you know what, it's just better to shut a star

down at this point in the season. Either way, if you still have a week 17 championship,

please correct that heading into next season. You should be playing your championship in week 16.

But Woods will definitely be back next week.

We'll start to take a look at next season at the early 2019 rankings.

We're going to begin our previews for the draft and for free agency and all that great stuff.

But to close out 2018, I wanted to take a quick look back at the season just as a whole.
