There was no other way to end the year than having our old pal Eddie Kaufholz back on the show. We talk about 2018 like it can't hear us- the things we loved and hated, the ways it surprised us, Eddie's big changes this year (and he parents his daughters a few times), and we dive deep into plans for 2019. Y'all are better friends than I deserve. 0:13.7	episode of our Christmas party as well. My name is Annie F. Downs. I am your hostess. I'm
0:19.0	so glad to be with you guys here today. What a year we have had. I am just so grateful
0:24.5	for y'all. You just can't even know. I was just pulling up some stats and in 2018, we
0:29.6	started the year doing one show a week on Thursdays, switched in May and started doing two shows
0:34.5	a week. So by the end of this year, we've done about 70 episodes with about 5 million downloads,
0:40.9	which is just unbelievable. Over 5 million downloads, two shows a week and 70 this year, that
0:46.5	is just crazy. I'm so thankful for y'all. I just could have never dreamed that this would
0:51.2	be what it is. I can't even begin to list my favorite shows from 2018. You can probably guess
0:57.4	some of them and you know what your favorites were too, but I've said for a really long time that I
1:02.4	liked them all. I love some and I really love some others and some felt sacred this year and I'll
1:08.0	just never, never stop saying thanks to our guests who've been on and the guests who have taken
1:13.8	time this year to be on the show and to you guys for always listening. It's so sweet. And to our
1:19.3	friends like Dave Barnes for letting us use his music, we've had people all year long who've allowed
