The 2016-17 NBA season is in the books, the Golden State Warriors, our champions,

defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-120 and what was another epic yarn of a game in a series

that was just incredibly enjoyable from an aesthetic standpoint. We'll get to all of our observations

just start by appreciating the basketball that we saw in this series really after game 1. This is

probably the highest level of offensive basketball between two teams that I think we may ever see

in our lifetimes and I don't want to forget about that. Yeah, I wanted to start with the calves too

in that kind of a realm because Cleveland really did deliver in game 5 and overall. There were

a couple of laggy moments but other than that, I mean, well, Braun was spectacular. He averaged a

triple double for the series, something like 34, 12 and 10. He was massive again, another great

first quarter. He's been great in every single first where was great in every single first quarter

of the series and then the other guy who just he's come on in the last couple games. J.R. Smith,

the shots that he hits are just mind bending in a series full of guys who hit mind bending shots.

J.R. Smith had 25 points on 11 shooting possessions in this game. I that might be an efficiency

record for someone who scored 25 points. That's got to be up there. He was at 9 of 11 from the field

overall 7 of 8 from 3 on some very very difficult attempts, including one like 30 foot as the

half expired. Another one at the in the third quarter fading away and in the last three games of

the series, he was 17 of 28 from 3 point range. I mean, just and the calves overall shot 11 of 24.

We'll get it obviously much more into just the overall strategy of this game and our impressions

of it. But yeah, I said it on the last show. I mean, these are two of the five best offences ever. I
