Hi friends, Mary Christmas. Welcome to week three of our that sounds fun Christmas party.

Oh, I just love it. And listen, this time last year is when we went from every other week

posting to having a podcast every week. That was the surprise of the Christmas party and

trust me, we've got some surprises coming for you as well this year. But so far it's

been so fun with the girls and Russ Ramsey from Sheebie's Truth and Heebie's Truth talking

about Advent. This is week one of Advent. If you're listening to it, when this podcast

comes out and so far the Sheebie's Truth study has been incredible. So I hope you are doing

that along with us. And then last week we had Sharon Miller who I just loved and you guys

did too. I've loved seeing your response to it. So I'm so, so glad that you are enjoying

that episode. And as we like to do the Christmas party, I love to bring in some Christmas

music. And I think I've told you this, but maybe I haven't. This Christmas song you

hear in the background is from my friend John McLaughlin, one of my favorite singer songwriters.

He has a new Christmas EP out called Red and Green. You should definitely pick that up.

first writing friends that I ever had that worked in the bloggy world that was in this

kind of writing world, Melanie Shankill. You probably know her as big mama at the blogger.

She is just hilarious. She's just layers and you're totally going to love her. So she is

with us today. We're talking all about her new book, Church of the Small Things. But

then of course we talk about everything else, including Christmas, how we should be dressing

this year because you know she loves her some fashion talk. And we just laughed. We laughed.
