A sad note before we begin, as most of you probably know already,

we lost one of the legends in the conspiracy pantheon,

the granddaddy really of JFK assassination research, or one of them.

He actually knew Jack Ruby.

I'm talking about Jim Mars, of course, who died earlier this week at the age of 74.

Jim was a good friend. He was a guest on this program many times, and this program's various incarnations over the last nearly 20 years.

We also appeared together at a couple of live events, and he was on a number of

episodes of my television program, The Conspiracy Show. And I have to say, one of my great

memories of Jim Mars, I was down in Dallas shooting an episode for the TV show. I was to meet up

with Jim later in the day. So he called me on the phone
