So let's take a little look and remember the Obama years.

Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law.

If we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well.

That's why we condemn the persecution of people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.

We do these things not only because they are the right thing to do, but because ultimately they will make us safer.

We believe in a big America, a taller in America, a just America, an equal America.

We believe in America where we're all in it together.

And we see the good and one another.

I want you to know that I expect and hope to be judged not by words, not by promises I've made,

but promises that my administration keeps.

And together we also have to keep sending a message to every young person in this country who might feel alone because they're gay or transgender.

And make sure they know that there are adults they can talk to, that they are never alone, that there is a whole world waiting for them.
