2:13.0	Kathleen Wynne, they are eyeing serious changes
2:19.0	to traffic court.
2:21.0	They're calling it an online administrative monetary penalty system or AMPS.
2:28.8	And the idea is that this online administrative monetary penalty system, it sounds rather innocuous,
2:35.8	but I don't think it is.
2:37.4	The idea is that it would replace the current procedures for paying and disputing charges under the Provincial Offences Act.
2:45.9	So currently, if you want to plead not guilty to, let's say some speeding violation you want to plead not guilty you get to go to
2:56.6	court and present evidence and this is fundamental you get to face your
3:02.0	accuser and he has to present evidence or she has to present
3:06.2	evidence and that would be the the police officer presumably who issued
3:11.4	the ticket.
