How are we going to provide our citizens with insurance so that when disease strikes,

when injuries occur, that folks who are most of the time not at all responsible for why

that sickness affected them, why that injury happened to them, so we can help them.

They are suffering, they are fellow citizens, it could happen to each and every one of us

and probably eventually will.

So this is something that is a social issue, a community issue, and so there's the instinct

human beings have, a praiseworthy instinct, to take care of it collectively.

It's a little like a city we're realizing that we all need a beautiful park to have a

picnic in, to stroll with our kids, to visit with our friends, and so the communities

maintain and sustain public parks, public beaches, things that the community wants and needs

and can produce for itself.

And I want to talk to you about insurance, not just medical insurance, but fire insurance,

injury insurance, all kinds of insurance.

So let's focus on fire, injury, and disease.
