Now it may shock or surprise some of you to know that I actually lead a pretty normal quiet life away from the conspiracy show. I spent most of this

weekend outdoors with the Zach and North playing Shinni. Shinni. Shinni, that's hockey for those not familiar.

Playing up at a rink in Thornhill, not too far from here, behind a public school. And I have to say it give a shout out really

to the community volunteers up there that are responsible for building and

maintaining the rink there they've done an incredible job incredible job. It's really a lost art,

building and maintaining and flooding a proper outdoor rink.

And this, by all accounts, has been a banner year

for outdoor ice rinks with the the cold

temperatures particularly the occasional unseasonally warm days that we've

had followed by these bone-chilling. And again the result is an outdoor rink

with ice just like glass. It's just been great and the boys were out on the rink most of Saturday

and again today and I even took a turn at shoveling. Lord knows I'm much handier with a shovel than I am with a hockey stick.

Anyway, I've missed you know getting out on the ice and now that since I've had the boys, the last

eight years, I've probably been out on the rink more times in the last eight years than the preceding

30.

I've missed it.
