Summary

Ari Shaffir's album. I decided to do a slightly in depth analysis of my CD, Revenge for the Holocaust. This is the kind of thing I want to see more of in comedy. Discussing a standup recording the way an actor or director would discuss a movie. How were the bits concieved? What were the struggles associated with their development? Maybe a funny anecdote or two about the process. So here it is. If you've never heard my album before, enjoy. If you have heard it, here are some facts about it you may find interesting.

0:08.1	The Skeptic Tank. And as a thank you for all the people who listened over the years

1:01.5	I mean, I hate using the word favorite, but man, it's one of my favorite rooms in the world.
1:07.8	If I had an arrow down to one, it probably would be the one. But that is the original
1:12.4	room of the comedy story. If you're ever in the Denver area and you have a night off,
1:16.8	go to the downtown Denver Comedy Works. There's another one they open like in a rich part of town.
1:21.0	That one's good, but it ain't like the downtown one. The downtown one is just amazing. All
1:25.5	the seats are like bolted down and stuck right next to each other. The ceiling is low and the seats
1:30.8	go all the way up against the wall. So the laughs just reverberate and you just kill all the time.
1:37.9	It really doesn't matter who's playing. Just go. I mean, they get top shelf comedians all the time.
1:42.4	I'm sure they have like four or five weeks where it's like a so-so guy. But even for the so-so guy,
1:46.9	it'll still be a great time because it's a great fucking club. So here we go. As a presence
1:52.1	you guys, for free, my first recording, I guess I did one for Down and Dirty on HBO for Jim Norton.
