I have some unfortunately depressing news for you.

There was this study I told you about a couple of months ago I think it was, and it showed

how likely are people's political desires, how likely are those desires to be translated

into law based on that individual socioeconomic standing.

And as it turned out, the richer you were, the more likely it was that the desires you

had in terms of policy were to become actual law.

And this made us say, wait a second, this seems to be evidence of that plutocratic system

that we've been talking about for so long, that the legislative priorities of our elected

officials don't seem to actually reflect those of the average person.

We now have further news along these lines.

This is just disgusting.

I have really no other way to soften this.

This is a new study by two political science professors which found that ordinary Americans

have virtually no impact whatsoever on the making of national policy in the United States.

The analyst found that rich individuals and business-controlled interest groups largely

shaped policy in this country.
