Hello and welcome to the post-NFL draft edition of Inside the Huddle. The annual selection of

college football's best players was packed full of the usual drama, shocks, twists, trades, turns,

everything there was there. I'm your host, Neil Reynolds, joining me to discuss all the action from New York.

Mike Carlson of Channel 4 on the BBC. Mike, as always, these drafts seem to have everything.

A little bit of surprise, some players reaching, some teams reaching for players, guys going where you don't expect it.

And New York fans booing, you know, half the picks and Roger Goodell.

Yeah. You know, it was unfortunate too that, that the lockout got got re- restarted during the

draft, which made things worse. But I thought it was a fascinating draft because there were so

few sure things stand-out players. And usually you can go through the first few picks and have a

good idea of what's going to happen.

But given the fact that quarterbacks will almost always be overvalued in the draft,

and there was no one or two standout.

Exactly.

I think all of them were pretty much overvalued, you know, right down the line.
