I'm Lisa double-skaya, the Texas Observer reports that the FBI has been pushing its Secure

Communities program not so much to make us more secure, but to try out some of its new

and most intrusive technology.

The Secure Communities program requires local law enforcement to run fingerprint checks through

the FBI and Homeland Security, and everyone they arrest, no matter how minor the offense.

But the FBI isn't content with mere fingerprints anymore, it wants your eyeballs, and then some.

The program is promoted as a way to determine US citizenship status after someone's arrested
