So last week a federal district court found California's gay marriage band to be

unconstitutional and I for one am cautiously optimistic. Why cautiously? Because the

decision will be appealed at least once, if not twice. Because if you didn't know it,

our judicial system is a video game in which you have to fight through various levels,

picking up weapons and life points in hopes of eventually defeating nine elderly people.

Of course the Republican talking points began immediately following a decision. You know

sometimes I think Republicans have a chip in their heads that automatically received

streaming information right from the SkyNet mainframe. It's just a never-ending download

of talking points, scared tactics, and ass backwards economic theory. If you were

I sat down to watch that feed, they'd have to prop our eyelids open like in a clockwork

orange. But for Republicans, it's more engrossing than a Jeff Dunham concert. And as a complete

side note, let me just say this. If you listen to the current talking points against the

gay marriage decision, not one of them, not one, says Judge Bon Walker was wrong on the

law because you know he wasn't. And someone should alert the media on that one too. I mean

the right wing finally passed up a chance to lie about something. Expect to see that

happen again right around the time the Cubs win the World Series. I won't go over all
