Who's plea of self-defense has been attacked around the world?

Oh, it hasn't been the most cheerful week for news.

We're talking about Gaza, which has been blockaded by Israel and up until a couple of days ago, Egypt,

denying it most of its basic needs.

And so a bunch of activists from 32 countries and about 40 different organisations

got to get the flotilla of ships to take stuff through.

And Israel opposes this because they say,

we need to search all this stuff, make sure it's not weapons,

despite the fact that the Turkish have already searched it all.

Israeli commandos decide to storm the ships in international waters,

which is a very dubious legality. Any road, I'm abhoring you.

Any road?

You see, from the outset, the activists said, look, we have a political motive in doing this.

Yes, these supplies are needed, but more importantly, we want to defy the blockade

and draw attention to it so that it will be lifted.

And the Israelis said, this is a political motive.
