Thanks for tuning in to another THP podcast everyone in this episode, Hayden and I are going to be talking with our buddies Connor and Jim.

Connor's one of my best friends from high school, we played a lot of sports together and he eventually started showing some interest in hunting so I invited him along and he fell in love with it.

I just made us even closer, we were spending all kinds of time together and then he became my roommate in college in 2012.

After being in college for a year he made a pretty major life decision to leave school and go into the army.

I was sad to see him go because I knew our hunting adventures were gonna definitely be put on hold for a while but I was also really proud of the decision that he made because I felt like it was the right decision for him and his future.

And it definitely put our hunting adventures on hold for almost a decade and this past weekend we were able to get into the turkey woods together in North Carolina for the first time and he said about 10 years.

Also on this podcast is Connor's buddy Jim who is now Hayden and I's buddy both Connor and Jim joined the army in 2013 and prior to the army they had a little hunting experience but not much.

Once they joined the military they both took a break from hunting and in this past year both Jim and Connor got back into hunting and have spent a lot of time deer hunting duck hunting and now turkey hunting together.

So in this podcast we talk a little bit about how Connor got into hunting and some stories from our friendship back in the high school days but we also focus on talking about what it's like to get back into hunting after having taken a break.

And specifically what it looks like to get back into hunting while actively serving in the military.

It was a lot of fun to hunt and record with those guys so thank you all enjoy it.
