every Thursday, starting April 20th. I wanted to wear pigtails to school every day.

I wanted to meet the two fairy. I wanted a purple bed spread. When Rachel Serratz,

she was in fourth grade, she wasn't like her other classmates. I was a lot more innocent

than the other kids around me. It was so cute to read the journal and see that.

And purple bed spreads and pigtails weren't the only thing she wanted back then.

I wanted friends and I wanted to be a normal person.

And this feeling like she was somehow different kept her awake at night.

I knew there was something and I wished I knew what it was and I wanted to know and I couldn't figure it out yet.
